Gary began his career as a window production manager in 1994 and brings years of experience retrofitting replacement windows and employing best installation practices. He became a consultant for SWDC in 2004, and utilizes his expertise to provide the best solution for your window and door replacement needs.
Dave studied window construction in Norway as a window production manager. As the former Window & Door Service Manager for Scherer Bros., Dave has extensive problem-solving knowledge and expertise in best installation practices, and has been with SWDC since 2004.
Tracy’s window and door industry career spans over 20 years in manufacturing, commercial/project management, service and operations. As a member of the SWDC team since 2005, he brings in-depth retrofitting knowledge and expertise in best installation practices.
Chris has been a window consultant since 1991, and spent 14 years learning about the many types of residential windows while working with Harmon Glass. He started with SWDC in 2005, utilizing his extensive knowledge and expertise to create optimal window replacement solutions.
As a former Harmon Glass project manager for commercial and residential installations, Kirk has seen a wide range of windows, which gives him a unique perspective on which windows are the most energy efficient. Kirk joined SWDC in 2008, and uses his vast industry knowledge to create the best solutions for retrofitting replacement windows.
Tom spent two years at Marvin Windows’ manufacturing plant in Warroad, MN as a corporate trainer—educating architects, designers, and contractors on the entire spectrum of Marvin products. In 2015, Tom joined Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. as a sales associate, focusing on Marvin window and door products. His experience working at the manufacturing facility gave him in-depth knowledge of the construction and quality of Marvin products.
Jim has worked in the remodeling industry for over 30 years, with the last 17 years focusing on the window and door replacement industry. Jim started working at Justus Lumber in Hopkins in 1999, eventually starting his own Marvin Window replacement company in 2006. Jim joined Scherer Window & Door in 2016. Being a long-time carpenter and contractor, Jim brings extensive experience to the window installation industry. He understands how homes are built, which helps in assessing what windows are best for your home.
Mark has been in the window and door industry for several years, most recently at Pella Windows & Doors. Mark was impressed with the high level of quality and options offered by Marvin Window & Doors and made the decision to represent Marvin products. Mark will work diligently to understand your needs and offer the right solution that will work for your window and door project.
